The Road to Recovery

This image is my generally accurate transcription of Liz Carroll's performance of her tune "The Road to Recovery." I've prepared a Sun/NeXT format (.au) sound clip of the first four bars of the tune from her album Liz Carroll. The software I used to lay out the music is free. I bundled it into a nice package for Windows machines. Many other people wrote its parts. Go here to download it (read "read1st.txt" first!). If you aren't a DOS whiz, you may find it frustrating to install, so you can always settle for ease-of-installation and all-Windows operation by grabbing Jim Vint's ABC2WIN.

Don't know what abc format is? Well, it's quite amazing. You can touch-type music! To get the above tune all I had to do is type in a plain text file:
