Public House Ceili Band's Grand Finale

Dear friends of Public House Ceili Band,

The big news is that this weekend will be the last Public House Ceili Band gig. Ever. So you better be there!

Public House returns to the Milwaukee Irish Fest Dance Pavilion for the 11th and last time this year. Or maybe it's a nice round 10th - archives indicate that we appeared there as "Taproom Ceili Band" back in 1997. Same diff - beer served in any case.

This Grand Finale of Public House will be extra special because on Sunday we'll appear as the full, original quartet, with Dave Delgado rejoining the band with that extra boost of energy he always brings to the stage.

Our time slots are: Saturday, Aug. 18, for sets at 6:45 pm and Sunday, Aug. 19, for ceili at 3 pm.

Public House Ceili Band, Milwaukee dance this Sat. June 23

Dear friends of Public House Ceili Band,

Join us this Saturday, June 23, at the monthly Set Ceili in Milwaukee at the Irish Cultural Heritage Center. The set of the month is the the Borlin Jenny Set, which will be taught starting at 7:00 p.m. Then dance sets to our music from 8:00 until 11:00. $8.00 free will offering requested. Tea and snacks are provided. Beer and soda are sold to benefit the ICHC. You are invited to bring a treat if you can.

The ICHC (Irish Cultural and Heritage Center, http://ichc.net/ ) is just west of Marquette University, at 2133 W. Wisconsin Ave. It is easily
reached from I-94 via the 26th St. exit (eastbound) or 22nd St. (westbound). Go north to Michigan Avenue and then to 23rd. The ICHC free
parking lot is just off of 23rd St.

Public House Ceili Band this Sunday for Milwaukee Set Dance Weekend

The annual Midwinter Set Dance Weekend in Milwaukee is here again, this coming weekend, Feb. 23-25. Our part in it is to play for the Sunday afternoon dance from 2 to 4 pm. Public House Ceili Band for sets in Milwaukee this Saturday

Dear friends of Public House Ceili Band,

Join us this Saturday, Thanksgiving weekend, November 25, at the monthly Set Ceili in Milwaukee at the Irish Cultural Heritage Center. The set of the month is the Labasheeda, which will be taught starting at 7:00 p.m. Then dance sets to our music from 8:00 until 11:00. A $7.00 free will offering will be requested, tea and snacks will be provided, and beer and soda are sold to benefit the ICHC. You are invited to bring a treat if you can.

The ICHC (Irish Cultural and Heritage Center, http://ichc.net/ ) is at 2133 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee (just west of Marquette U.). Park free in lots off 23rd St. south of Wisconsin Ave.
Westbound: take I-94 west to 25th St. Exit, go north on 25th Street to Wisconsin Avenue. Then right (east) to 23rd Street.
Eastbound: take I-94 east to 35th St. exit, go north (left) to Wisconsin Ave., east to 23rd St. Parking is available in lots south (and slightly West) of the center. Take 23rd St. south to alley to enter.
